XRHealth, a provider of therapeutic extended reality (XR) solutions, has recently announced that it has raised USD $10M in funding to expand its virtual healthcare treatment solutions for the Metaverse. The funding was backed by HTC, Bridges Israel impact investment fund, AARP, crowdfunding on StartEngine.com and existing investors.

According to XRHealth, solutions such as virtual treatment rooms could provide further opportunities for clinicians to expand their businesses, improve access for patients to receive care, and may provide more simplicity and comfort for users by allowing them to engage in therapeutic treatment from the comfort of their own homes. As a result, XRHealth states that it is creating a major imprint on the healthcare metaverse presence by expanding its accessibility to patients worldwide, connecting patients with treating clinicians.
