Digitales Lernen hat während der Corona-Pandemie sowohl an der Schule als auch an der Universität Impulse erhalten. Diesen Faden gilt es nun weiter aufzunehmen, um neue Methoden zu entwickeln, zu erproben und schließlich anzuwenden. Der Erziehungswissenschaftler Prof. Dr. Alexander Gröschner von der Universität erforscht in einem neuen Projekt, wie virtuelle Realität die Ausbildung von Lehrern und damit auch den Schulunterricht bereichern kann. Gemeinsam mit Kollegen aus Finnland, Israel, der Türkei und den USA führt er die erste länderübergreifende Studie durch. Unterstützt werden die Forscher von der European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction sowie der Jacobs Foundation. Herausgefunden werden soll, wie sich die Bearbeitung von Aufgaben in der sogenannten Virtual Reality – in die angehende Lehrpersonen mittels Brille und zwei Controllern eintauchen – auf den Lernerfolg auswirkt. cd/Foto: Jens Meyer/Universität Jena
