The deepened collaboration aims to boost knowledge retention, reduce incidents, and maximize on-site effectiveness
Rounding off a busy week for the XR industry, PIXO VR made further strides in bringing VR immersive training solutions to the forefront by collaborating with safety and regulatory compliance solutions provider J. J. Keller & Associates to scale and enhance workplace training into the latter’s portfolio of training services.
The move allows J. J. Keller & Associates customers to integrate PIXO-powered interactable RT3D immersive training environments and assets into their existing J. J. Keller learning platform.
The integration of PIXO technology allows J.J. Keller to deploy immersive training services with target workplace safety, therefore improving knowledge retention and reducing workplace incidents.
The PIXO integration highlights how VR can add further value to vital training procedures. Tom Ditzler, Director of Innovation at J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc, explained that the collaboration marks the firm’s continuous effort to enhance its “highly rated training content by adopting new formats and modalities to improve efficiency and provide the best solutions for our customers.”
Ditzler also added:
Virtual Reality is an excellent addition to our training methods. We believe VR is most effective when integrated into the existing J. J. Keller training portfolio and product offerings. By partnering with PIXO, we have incorporated their platform into our Learning Management System, allowing our clients to access all their training needs through a single solution. This integrated solution would not be possible without PIXO.
VR Training to Maximise On-Site Effectiveness
“We are excited to work with J. J. Keller in bringing this state-of-the-art VR training to organizations nationwide,” noted Sean Hurwitz, CEO & Founder at PIXO VR.
PIXO notes that by integrating its VR training platform into the J. J. Keller training portfolio, customers can now access 16 training modules across key training sectors, including workplace safety and health, transportation, and human resources.
VR training and full immersion have the prospect of fully investing a trainee in a procedure, in theory allowing the learner to take in and retain more information, readying them for on-site work. This is of notable importance in demand-driven or dangerous environments where safety and operational costs are of high concern.
Notably, the PIXO/J. J. Keller partnership tackles some key areas where virtual training can assist future on-site workers, such as walk-around and in-vehicle pre-trip inspection, hazard recognition, and confined space entry.
Hurwitz added:
This partnership highlights our commitment to delivering high-impact training solutions that prioritize safety, efficiency, and compliance, with the industry leader.
The PIXO/J. J. Keller training program is available to customers now, marking further steps towards workplace XR adoption in 2025. Interestingly, the news follows Industrial Immersive 2025, a dedicated XR workplace event showcasing how AR/VR/MR technologies are championing industry success stories.
