Teamviewer presents an immersive spatial computing solution for efficient training and onboarding processes in the industry.
As a provider of solutions for the digital workplace, including augmented reality (AR) in industry, the company points out how customers from sectors such as aerospace, automotive and mechanical engineering are improving their global training programs. For example, GE Aerospace, a manufacturer of aircraft engines, relies on the joint solution from Teamviewer and its technology partner Siemens: based on Teamviewer Frontline Spatial, interactive digital twins of GE Aerospace’s engines are made available to aircraft technicians at hundreds of locations worldwide via augmented reality (AR). This enables GE Aerospace to provide high-quality, cost-effective and detailed training worldwide. Oliver Steil, CEO Teamviewer: „Spatial computing opens up completely new possibilities for mechanical engineering.
With digitalized training, companies can use their resources more efficiently, mitigate the shortage of skilled workers and reduce travel and costs. Together with our partners, we make it possible to experience technical data intuitively and three-dimensionally, making it easier for our customers to train their technical specialists worldwide.“ Other innovations from the Teamviewer portfolio include remote access to production facilities, AR for picking in warehouses, for example, and IT support for digital workstations.
