Latest Platform Iteration Focuses on Modular Content, AI Simulation, and Streamlined Deployment Based on Institutional Feedback
This week, immersive training platform Bodyswaps updated to version 3.0 in an effort to optimise its service’s skill assessment pipelines for educational and professional institutions.
Bodyswaps worked to create version 3.0 based on feedback from over 50 academic institutions relating to XR content management, deployment, and evaluation.
Bodyswap 3.0 Features
As part of the Bodyswaps 3.0 update, the firm aims to improve modular learning pathway construction, which enables streamlined customisation of immersive learning sequences with newly developed content, including more than 35 structured learning soft skills modules and more than 30 immersive practical exercises.
Joining the AI train, Bodyswaps 3.0 introduces AI-driven simulation capabilities which provide learners with an immersive avatar that will guide a user through role-playing scenarios, including standardised and repeatable practice environments.
Moreover, enhanced integrated assessment tools enable mentor-led progress monitoring via customisable multiple-choice assessments and self-evaluation questionnaires, helping educators to construct learning pathways directly aligned with specific learner objectives and institutional requirements.
Additional Bodyswaps 3.0 features include a revised centralised class management dashboard. This data analytics platform provides session transcripts for in-depth performance evaluation. This learning management system supports integration with established LMS platforms such as Canvas/Blackboard/Moodle, and an enhanced approach to multi-platform accessibility, which promotes Bodyswap interoperability across virtual reality, personal computers, mobile devices, and web browsers.
Where to find it
Interested individuals can access the Bodyswaps 3.0 platform via a trial or through a third-party XR service platform such as Immerse Marketplace, which offers a range of immersive training solutions from partners like Bodyswaps and others.
